Police have confirmed that 32 people who were arrested at a Palestine protest in Manchester have all since been bailed.

The arrests were made on Saturday (November 29) as pro-Palestine protesters gathered at St Peter's Square in the city centre. Some were holding placards and signs that appeared to show support for the banned group Palestine Action.

Palestine Action was listed as a proscribed terrorist organisation by the UK Government earlier this year. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said 32 people were arrested at the protest in Manchester under the Terrorism Act 2000.
