KEMPNER, Texas — A single-vehicle crash on Highway 190 closed the westbound lane at Lampasas River Bridge for several hours Sunday night, according to the Kempner Volunteer Fire Department.
Multiple fire, law enforcement and emergency agencies responded to the accident on the westbound side of the highway Sunday, Nov. 30 around 9:30 p.m.
Officials said the scene would take several hours to clear and had requested a Life Flight helicopter to the scene, warning that the highway would temporarily close while the helicopter made its landing.
The crash was reportedly cleared by 1 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1. Authorities did not release any information on the condition of the driver, any potential passengers or the vehicle involved in the accident.
