A fire in Bethlehem.

Three dogs died in a fire in Hunterdon County on Sunday, Nov. 30, authorities said.

At 1:45 p.m., troopers responded to a home on Charleston Road in Bethlehem and found it fully engulfed in flames, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.

The residents were able to escape the home with minor injuries and were hospitalized for further evaluation, Marchan said. Three dogs died, Marchan said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Marchan said.
