HEBRON, CT (WFSB) - Towns in Connecticut have been preparing for a storm system that could include some winter weather.
The system in question was forecasted to arrive by Tuesday morning and could lead to some accumulations in parts of the state.
Hebron Town Manager Andrew Tierney spoke about his town’s preparations on Monday.
“We’ve got the trucks ready, we have the crews and routes all ready to go,” Tierney said. “We have approximately 100 miles of road in Hebron. We’ll be out there to make sure it’s safe for the rush hour in the morning and watch it throughout the day.”
Tierney said his crews would be out early to monitor conditions. They’ll also pre-treat the roads with a treated salt.
