Popular BBC Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox has confessed that one of her relatives occasionally pretends not to know her. Despite recently raising over £11 million for Children in Need by covering a staggering 135 miles on foot – effectively running five marathons in five days, she admits that she can still be an embarrassment to her children.

Her 17 year old son Isaac often ignores her at the gym, according to the TV and radio presenter.

"I'll give him a lift there and it will be lovely," she shared with The Times . "Then in the gym if I walk past him he gives me that little look to say, 'Go away.' He knows people there and he doesn't want me going up to him all sweaty."
