ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Officials are asking residents to conserve water due to the lack of recent rain.
The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) has issued a Phase 1 Water Shortage Order that includes St. Petersburg. The order went into effect Monday.
Water restrictions remain in are effect across the region, and SWFWMD says knowing your assigned watering days is one of the easiest and most effective ways to protect our water resources.
