FLINT, MI – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross South Dort Highway in Flint on Nov. 26, police said.
Officers were called out to a crash on South Dort Highway near East Court Street at 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
Police believe the victim was walking east across the street before they were struck by a silver GMC that was traveling south, according to a news release from the Flint Police Department.
The vehicle fled the scene without stopping, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.
The victim was an adult male. His name and age were not released by authorities.
It is unclear if speed, alcohol or drugs are a factor in the crash, according to the release.
