GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Science extraordinaire Covey Denton and her special science helpers Lydia and Bethany Denton joined Charlie for a demonstration in Bernoulli’s Principle. The end result? Smoke rings!

In order to recreate the experiment at home, you’ll need matches, a red solo cup, a plastic bag, and rubber bands. Cut a small penny sized hole in the bottom of the red solo cup. Place the plastic bag over the drink end of the cup and secure tightly with the rubber band. Light a match, let it burn for 2-4 seconds, blow it out and then hold the match under the penny-sized hole in the solo cup to collect as much smoke in the cup as possible. Once your cup is full of smoke, you can turn it horizontal and tap the plastic bag in order to shoot smoke rings out of the penny-sized hole.
