Poundland is closing five more of its shops this month as an "everything must go" sale officially begins.
The budget retailer is shuttering two branches just this week, with three other closures forecast over the coming weeks. In some of the stores there are sales of up to 40 per cent off now on until the locations close down.
Poundland's first store to wave goodbye to customers this week is its Melton Mowbray branch, with its doors set to close on Thursday, December 4.
The next shop to disappear from the high street will be in Worthing, West Sussex on December 6, with this location specifically offering a 40 per cent closing down sale to customers.
