ALEXANDRIA — Bethany on the Lake has earned national recognition for excellence in short-term rehabilitation, according to U.S. News and World Report.

The facility received an overall 5-star rating and was named High Performing in Short-Term Rehabilitation — an honor reserved for the top-rated nursing homes in the country.

Administrator Matthew Fischer said the award reflects the dedication of the entire team.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from U.S. News and World Report. It reflects the dedication of our entire team to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services. Every member of our staff plays a vital role in helping residents achieve their goals and return home safely, and I couldn’t be more proud of their commitment,” Fischer said in a press release.
