A teenager has pleaded guilty to killing a 14-year-old boy in a street attack. Ibrahima Seck died after being stabbed to the heart in New Moston as he was walking to play football with friends, a court has heard.

Boy A, 14, who cannot be named for legal reasons, denies murder. Boy B, 17, and Boy C, 14, who also cannot be named, deny the murder and manslaughter.

On Monday, December 1, Boy A pleaded guilty to manslaughter. The trial continues at Manchester Crown Court in respect of the offence of murder and the two other teenage defendants.

Two women are also on trial, accused of helping Boy A and Boy B leave the area and giving them a change of clothing. Naomi Heavens, 39, and Keri Dobson, 37, deny assisting an offender.
