There is no other way to describe it: The divorce between college football head coach Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss is nothing short of incredibly messy.
The ongoing saga has had many twists and turns, including some fascinating storylines involving Kiffin's dog. But one of the latest updates is suited best for a moment on reality TV or a corny movie. According to a post that has made its way on social media, Ole Miss literally left Kiffin's clothes in the street as if he was dealing with an actual breakup.
That isn't a normal between a collegiate athletic department and its coach before a departure, but then again, nothing about this split is typical.
Unfortunately, we don't have a confirmation (or a denial) about the validity of this post.
Here is more (via PEOPLE):
"A spokesperson for the Ole Miss athletic department did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on the image, shared by Ole Miss football podcaster Ben Garrett."
True or not, what other chaos might emerge from the story that keeps on providing more and more?
Either way, we can expect that photo of the clothing rack to a turn into a meme of sorts among college football fans.
