Winter weather Monday morning in Northwest Arkansas impacted roads, and precipitation could continue into the afternoon, according to a report from the National Weather Service in Tulsa.
Some parts of Northwest Arkansas have already experienced wintry mix precipitation -- defined by the Weather Service as freezing rain, freezing drizzle or sleet.

Precipitation chances throughout the day are highest in counties north of Interstate 40 in Arkansas and Oklahoma, according to a Weather Service report from 5 a.m. Monday. It states slick roads and elevated surfaces could impact drivers' commutes throughout the day.
Fayetteville and Rogers are listed in the report as having a 30% chance
