BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Messy conditions continue across much of Maine this Sunday evening, with rain showers along the Interstate, Coast, and Downeast, while snow showers continue farther to the North up in the County and Northern Penobscot as of 7:30pm. Rain will continue along the Interstate and Coast throughout the evening, with the rain/snow line reaching all the way up to Houlton by 9pm. Areas farther to the West will be drying out with precipitation wrapping up by this point. Rain showers will continue to the SE of the Interstate by 10pm, with all rain exiting Washington County communities by 2-3am. Only another 0.25 to 0.5 inches of rain is expected, while only up to an inch of snow will continue to fall across Northern Maine.
