A Georgia man faces life in prison after a jury took just 35 minutes to convict him of shooting his ex-girlfriend nearly a dozen times in front of their 5-month-old child.
Shawn Bolden Jr. was convicted of malice and felony murder , aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime in the 2021 death of 29-year-old Deanna Ellison, the Chatham County District Attorney's Office said in a press release.
"Bolden emptied his 9mm revolver into Deanna, reloaded it and continued to shoot her lifeless body," prosecutors wrote.
