As Michigan reels from winter storms that dropped over 2 feet of snow in some areas, more lake effect snow is on the way, according to the National Weather Service.
Heavy lake effect snow up to over 1 foot is forecasted in areas of west and northern Michigan on Monday evening, Dec. 1, into Tuesday morning, Dec. 2, set to make driving conditions hazardous amid low visibility on the roads, the NWS predicted.
Winter weather advisories and storm warnings are or will soon be in place in parts of west Michigan, northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula for heavy lake effect snow the afternoon of Dec. 1 into early Dec. 2, per the weather agency.
