KINGSTON, N.Y. — The Rev. Frank Alagna, who died on Saturday at age 81, was remembered Monday not only as a spiritual leader but as a tireless advocate for the immigrant and marginalized communities in the county.
Alagna’s Nov. 29 death was announced Monday by The Ulster Immigrant Defense Network, which Alagna cofounded in 2017. He was the group’s president and rector emeritus of Holy Cross/Santa Cruz Episcopal Church in Midtown.
