FINCH — The Holiday Train rocked and rolled through the Township of North Stormont on Friday, keeping the tradition alive.

The Holiday Train is an annual travelling event put on by the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), bringing a festive mix of lights, live music, and a stage built into one of its box cars to various communities. Unlike most CPKC freights, this train delivers holiday cheer for the whole family.

Stopping in Finch, residents had the chance to gather and enjoy performances from Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse. Other notable acts for stops this year include the Barenaked Ladies and Smash Mouth, both scheduled to perform at stops in larger cities in the U.S. and Canada.

Attendees were are encouraged to make a donation or bring non-perishable food item
