SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry announces the debut of educational videos to give voters the information they need ahead of closed party primaries starting in 2026.

There are five total videos meant to explain what closed-party primaries are about and make the transition from open primaries smoother.

“This educational campaign will ensure that all voters are empowered with the knowledge they need ahead of the transition to closed party primaries,” Secretary Landry said.
