On Monday at 12:42 p.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday between 1 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Erie and Genesee counties.
The weather service says to anticipate, "Total snow accumulations 2 to 4 inches. The snow will peak in intensity during the Tuesday morning commute."
"Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions with reduced visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning commute," explains the weather service. "Periods of snow will result in snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Slow down and use caution while driving."
