LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) will be making changes to its Delta Township routes next year.

CATA says the changes are due to the failure of the Delta Township public transit millage.

BACKGROUND: Delta Twp. voters decide against public transportation proposal

As a result, CATA will reduce transit operations in Delta Township starting Monday, Jan 12., 2026.

The following changes will be implemented:

“Route 3 — Willow-Lansing Mall:

Service will no longer operate west of the Lansing Mall. Approximately 30 bus stops along West Saginaw Highway, Canal Road, St. Joseph Highway and Marketplace Boulevard will go out of service as buses will travel to the Meijer on West Saginaw after departing the Lansing Mall.
