December's supermoon will be higher in the sky than any other full moon until 2042, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac.

There will be three supermoons in 2026 , according to moonphasetoday.org, but if you miss the one on Jan. 3, you'll have to wait until November 2026 for the next one.

If you're busy on Dec. 4, the moon will appear full both the night before and the night after its peak illumination.
