WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WBTV) - A North Carolina-based restaurant chain has closed its doors after 88 years of service.
K&W Cafeterias announced their closure on Dec. 1, effective immediately, they wrote on their website and social media pages.
The chain was founded in 1937 and had eight locations in North Carolina, including Concord, and one in Virginia.
“We are truly sorry to bring this chapter to an end, but profoundly thankful for the love you’ve shown us for nearly nine decades,” a company spokesperson wrote, in part, online.
