MARIETTA, Ga. — Kennesaw State Emergency Management said Tuesday morning the Marietta campus will be at "modified operations" on Tuesday following a gas leak the previous day .
According to a post by KSU Emergency Management, the Marietta campus is safe but "internet and heat for some buildings on campus are out."
The Kennesaw campus will maintain normal operations, the post just before 6:30 a.m. said.
The gas leak occurred at the KSU Marietta Academic Building (H), which KSU Emergency Management said was a "core facility for campus infrastructure at the Marietta campus."
Marietta Fire said the leak was discovered when a KSU worker opened a building following the holiday break and smelled the gas. The leak could not initially be located, leading to gas being turned off for an area
