SHREVEPORT, La. - KTBS is On Your Side and Answering the Call.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is inviting the community to participate in the 14th annual "Clean Out Your Closet for Christmas" event.

Deputies say it will make a difference in the lives of families in need this holiday season.

From now until Dec. 19, Sheriff's Safety Town is accepting new or gently used clothing as well as hygiene kits.

Caddo sheriff's Sgt. Carlos Chenevert provided more details on how the community can participate in this project.
