TOWN OF LEYDEN, New York (WWNY) - A portion of Route 12 in Lewis County is closed to traffic due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer.
The sheriff’s office said it happened at around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday in the town of Leyden.
There were no reports of injury.
The southbound lane of Route 12 is closed between Route 12D in Lyons Falls and Main Street in Boonville in Oneida County.
Dispatchers said there have been a number of weather-related accidents in Lewis County, leading authorities to issue a travel advisory.
