OTTAWA COUNTY, MI – A Holland man was hospitalized with serious injuries Tuesday, Dec. 2, after he was pinned inside his vehicle in a crash.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the two-car crash at 2:49 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Port Sheldon Street in Olive Township, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies said the 42-year-old Holland man was driving east on Port Sheldon Street when he was struck by a woman driving south on U.S. 31 in a pickup truck with a utility trailer.
The Holland man was pinned inside his vehicle in the crash and had to be extricated by first responders, according to the sheriff’s office. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries from the crash.
