DRUNKEN DRIVING

WEST LAKEWAY ROAD AND HILLCREST DRIVE: An 18-year-old woman was arrested and a 17-year-old male passenger was ticketed after police responded to a report of a possible drunken driver in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds said. At about 3:30 a.m., a man said a vehicle had run a stop sign and passed him in a non-passing zone without its headlights or taillights on before turning without using its signal. He said he'd seen the woman previously drinking at a party, and he followed her vehicle until it was stopped by deputies. The woman was arrested after performing poorly on sobriety tests for driving under the influence of alcohol as a youthful offender.
