BUFFALO, N.Y. — A new kind of vending machine is making it easier for Western New Yorkers to give back this holiday season. The Conor J. Casey Foundation has launched “The Love Machine,” a donation-based vending machine designed to support dozens of local nonprofits focused on food insecurity and community needs.

It's based at the Lexington Co-Op on Hertel Ave right now.

Unveiled just in time for Giving Tuesday, the machine operates like a traditional snack dispenser — but instead of chips or candy, it offers donation tiles representing up to 30 local organizations.

“We’re providing the community with an opportunity to donate to up to 30 local nonprofits,” said Colin Casey, chair of the Conor J. Casey Foundation.
