ROSEMOUNT, Minn. — The police chief for Rosemount has officially resigned from the position after feedback received in an anonymous employee survey.
The separation agreement with former chief Mikael Dahlstrom was accepted by the city council at its meeting on Tuesday night. Deputy Chief Carson Thomas, who has been leading the department since Oct. 1, will serve as the interim chief.
Rosemount Mayor Jeff Weisensel said at the council meeting that the city received "several complaints" in that employee survey but did not state what those complaints were.
