A space where home, studio and gallery merged, the house “became a sculpture in motion, ever responsive to the people who inhabit it, the shifting Delhi light and the passage of time,” writes his son and architect Mohit Gujral, who undertook restoration of the house early last year. On the centenary of Satish Gujral’s birth year, the house opens to the public for the very first time.
