What happens when a dyed-in-the-wool Bombay architect is commissioned to redesign a boutique hotel in Uttarakhand, high up in the hills, and lend to it a new lease on life? Well, the architect in question, Puran Kumar of his eponymous firm Studio PKA , was glad of the challenge.
