SEATTLE, Wash. – Students at the University of Washington's Medical Laboratory Science program were surprised by an anonymous donor who pledged $50 million to cover the students' clinical rotations.
In addition to the financial assistance, seniors in the class enjoyed a hand-delivered lunch from Dick's Drive-In Burgers, courtesy of the donor.
Ellie Lowe, a senior at the University of Washington, expressed her gratitude for the support.
"To just know that there are two quarters where I don't have to take out more loans, I don't have to work as hard as I have been, I can finally focus in on the career that I absolutely love is an incredible, incredible gift," said Lowe.
