A Glasgow shopkeeper has been rushed to hospital after being hurt in an attempted robbery . Emergency services were called to the House of Sher Mall on Wallace Street in Tradeston at around 8.20pm on Monday, December 1.

In CCTV footage shared with Glasgow Live, a man wearing a black hooded jumper can be seen entering the store before approaching the till. He can then be seen with what appears to be a bladed weapon.

A heroic staff member then confronts the suspect, before the pair scuffle out of the store. The condition of the man has not been confirmed, and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
