Three teens have appeared in court accused of stabbing Kayden Moy to death on a beach in Ayrshire.

The 16-year-old died in hospital after a disturbance at Irvine beach on May 17. Three teenagers appeared at the High Court in Edinburgh on Tuesday, December 2, for a preliminary hearing.

The trio are accused of repeatedly stabbing the East Kilbride schoolboy. It is alleged that they then attempted to pervert the course of justice in several ways, including fleeing the scene, hiding weapons and asking another person to burn blood-stained clothes, reports the Record.
