Four men have been arrested after police stopped a vehicle outside the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. Officers stopped the vehicle on Newton Street at the junction of William Street around 8.50pm on Tuesday, December 2 and arrested the four individuals, aged 34, 27, 27 and 22.

The nature of the incident has not been confirmed, but police say their investigations are ongoing. On Wednesday morning, police had blocked off William Street , and a section of Newton Street was also taped off.

A large section of grass on the grounds of the Hilton Hotel had also been cordoned off by officers. Several cones are also blocking traffic from getting through the area.
