New York City workers are set to receive millions following a major settlement with Starbucks.
The Department of Consumer and Worker Protection said the coffee chain will pay nearly $39 million in restitution after violating the Fair Workweek Law, affecting more than 15,000 baristas citywide.
Commissioner Vilda Vera Mayuga joined “Mornings On 1” Wednesday to discuss how employees will benefit from the settlement.
