Two victims have been scammed out of more than £5,000 by cold callers.
Suffolk Trading Standards received calls this week from two victims, one from Ipswich and the other from Leiston, who have been convinced to have their insulation removed.
Both of the victims received a call randomly, claiming that the insulation that was put in was incorrect and would cause problems with insurance, damp and future house sales.
They were charged more than £5,000 for the work and have been left without any insulation and damage to the roof and roof felt.
These traders also left one property with holes in the roof.
A spokesman for Suffolk Trading Standards said: "Please warn friends and family that the company is working in the area and that they should be alert to calls.
"Always be wary of any app
