Two suspected Russian spies slipped into the UK aboard commercial cargo vessels, before visiting areas close to military bases and critical infrastructure, The i Paper  can reveal.

Earlier this year the two men entered Britain via docks at Torquay, Middlesbrough and Grangemouth.

An investigation by this newspaper reveals how the Kremlin is moving some of its spies into the UK. The reporting is based on a cache of intelligence showing the movements of suspected spies, as well as maritime travel and crew logs, and interviews with seven security sources from Nato countries.
