GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A woman was arrested after Gainesville police received reports of aggravated assault and battery Tuesday night.
Officers say they responded to the victim’s home in the 1200 block of SW 16th Ave around 9:30 p.m., where Anquitte Quinn, 35, arrived uninvited and challenged her to a physical fight, threatening her with a gun.
They say the victim tried to walk away, and Quinn entered her car and hit her, continuing to drive as the victim held onto the hood. She then braked hard, causing the victim to be thrown onto the pavement, and fled the scene.
The victim sustained multiple injuries, and a witness provided a video of the incident to law enforcement.
Officials say they located Quinn at her place of work, where she was arrested and taken to the Alachua County Ja
