Two individuals have been charged after more than $900,000 worth of drugs, a loaded 9mm handgun, and drug paraphernalia were intercepted by authorities at the Calgary International Airport last week.
On Nov. 20, RCMP, Calgary Police Service and Canada Border Services Agency received an Alert from German Border Authorities about a shipment of drugs arriving at the Calgary International Airport.
With the assistance of the CBSA, police attended the airport where the package was located and subsequently seized.
On Nov. 21, police located the intended recipient of the package at an address along the 500 block of Cantrell Place S.W.
