A multi-vehicle crash has brought the M4 to standstill on Wednesday evening during rush hour. Traffic Wales has partially shut the motorway and warned of heavy traffic on the M4 Eastbound in Cardiff from J33 to J32.

An update from traffic monitoring system Inrix says: "M4 Eastbound blocked, severe delays due to multi-vehicle accident and debris on road from J33 A4232 (Cardiff West And Services) to J32 A470 Northern Avenue (Coryton Interchange).

"Congestion to J34 (Milskin), with traffic also slow on the opposite side due to onlookers. The A4232 is also queueing on approach."
