A thug has been jailed for an attack at York Railway Station which left his victim needing surgery for two brain bleeds. Connor Walker, 29, of Park Road in Durham , has been sentenced to 22 months in prison after a British Transport Police (BTP) investigation.
He pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm at Durham Crown Court on Thursday, November 20, after the incident which took place on Saturday, September 6, just after 6pm. Walker was strolling through the portico of the train station towards the entrance, and began aggressively shadowboxing before leaving.
He returned just a few minutes later, and walked past the victim, a man in his 40s,
