FORT WORTH, Texas — The Ariat western and workwear company is expanding its regional headquarters in Fort Worth, Gov. Greg Abbott's office announced Wednesday.
The Texas Enterprise Fund, a performance-based state grant program for businesses that relocate or expand in Texas, has granted the company $1.5 million, according to the release from Abbott's office.
Ariat's latest expansion will bring 150 new jobs and more than $8.9 million of investment to its Fort Worth regional headquarters, located at 15201 Blue Mound Road.
The California-based boot and apparel brand announced last year that it was investing an estimated $72.6 million to expand its regional headquarters and create a new regional distribution hub in Fort Worth.
