BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Some local nonprofits and organizations are opening theirs doors to provide a warm place to those in need amid low temperatures in Kentucky.
Allen County
The VH Dream Center is offering an overnight shelter from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week.
Currently, the warming center schedule states all two volunteer slots are filled to help keep the shelter running at night.

Barren County
Bridge KY states its warming room is open when the temperature drops below 50 degrees and provides shelter seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during those low temperatures.
