ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Department of Transportation on both sides of the river is preparing for overnight refreeze on area roads.
The First Alert 4 Weather Team said that on Wednesday afternoon, highs will rise above freezing with an increase in clouds as the day goes on. Later in the day, cold air will surge back into the air, bringing with it a chance for rain or snow.

As there could be melting throughout the day for the snow on the ground and then possible refreeze or new snowfall, both MoDOT and IDOT are preapring.
MoDOT told First Alert 4 they will have crews out in the evening and throughout the night treating state-maintained interstates and routes.
IDOT said they have patrols looking for areas where there might be
