A suspect has been taken into custody in connection to the October death of a 50-year-old man in east Charlotte.

Christian Caraballo, 19, was arrested on Dec. 2 and has been charged with murder in the death of his uncle.

Back in October, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call on Wembley Drive, right off of Briar Creek Road. The victim, identified as Ernesto Caraballo Toledo, was confirmed dead at the scene by Medic.
