FARGO — The man wanted in connection with a triple shooting, one fatal, in downtown Fargo this summer was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 3, and is in custody in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
According to the Hennepin County Jail roster, Tyrque Jones was arrested by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office and booked into the jail shortly before 1:30 p.m. A news release from the Fargo Police Department said the U.S. Marshals Service North Star Task Force arrested Jones at 12:09 p.m.
Jones, 20, was named as the main suspect in the murder of 19-year-old Azeem Holmes outside District 64, a nightclub in the 50 block of Broadway North in the aftermath of the shootings, which took place in the early morning hours of Aug. 3, just as bars were closing downtown.
