The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT)’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit has charged a 17-year-old Calgary high school student after he allegedly used artificial intelligence to sexualize photos of teen girls that attended different high schools in the Calgary area.
A search warrant was executed at a Calgary home on November 13 where two cell phones, a tablet and a laptop were seized.
The 17-year-old is facing charges regarding making, possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material, along with criminal harassment.
