AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Tickets are available for the Amarillo Performing Arts Center’s production “The Nutcracker: Amarillo Dreamin’” this weekend.
Organizers say the reimagined holiday production will include a West Texas twist and celebrate both tradition and creativity.
The production will feature over 50 local dancers and performers and showcase a variety of dance styles.
“We wanted to create a version of The Nutcracker that feels like home. It’s about family, community, and the pride we feel living and growing up here in Amarillo,” said Schae Sissel, Amarillo Performing Arts Center founder and producer.
